Romney’s response may not have been well timed or well said, but it demonstrates Americans’ disenchantment at what is missing from the Obama Administration’s foreign policy: a willingness to stand up for American values and let America lead again.

Chris Christi was the key note speaker, but Ann Romney will move the most votes with her more intimate comments about her decades as Mitt Romney’s partner and wife. If swing voters are looking for a reason to like Mitt Romney, Ann made a strong case for giving him a serious look. The Republican National Convention has two more nights, and the case isn’t finished, but Ann Romney started melting everyone (except perhaps Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow) waiting for a reason to warm to Mitt Romney. Newt lost Florida, and he lost big. He dissed Romney by not calling to concede. Guess what? There are still forty-six states left in the Republican nomination battle. We’re going to see a lot more of him and his antics.
Further, if you’re voting where I am, you’re voting last. Dead last.
But enough about Utah’s primary in the last third of June. I’ve already expended enough hot air on that else where. While there are some really interesting ideas for changing up the Primary process, we’ll deal with those on a later date.
