Having been on the receiving end of many political rants, I completely understand why others would rather avoid this topic all together. So for many years, I operated in a more passive political manner when it came to my friends and associates. My strategy was to leave the ball in their court and be that team player, dressed and ready to jump into the game if needed, but mostly on the sidelines until my number was called.
